Description
A Selection Statement is a short statement (maximum 1-2 pages) on how your experience abilities, knowledge and personal qualities are relevant for the role. Unlike Selection Criteria (200-300 preferred word limit), Selection Statements are concise (100-150 preferred word limit) and do not require a lengthy response however, responses are addressed using the STAR method. Selection Statements are often required for government job applications in states such as Queensland and Victoria.
